The film Amistad is a 4 star movie because I believe it is historically accurate, really effectual in demoing the manner slaves were treated, and the manner bondage and the American judicial system worked during the Antebellum period. Amistad seemed realistic to me throughout the full film ; one specific illustration would be the opening scene of the film. The scene had the slaves taking over La Amistad. The narrative wasn & # 8217 ; t excessively hard to follow, although at times I had to halt and believe of what was traveling on. Roger Baldwin ( Matthew McConaughey ) played a really good attorney for the slaves, it seemed like he genuinely cared for the freedom of the Mendes.
All in all, I would rate this film to be a really good 1. I would decidedly urge it to utilize in history categories, and for anyone else for that affair.
