The society in A Brave New World is really similar to the society of today. Though the society is scientifically created, it still shows much resemblance to that of our of course formed society today. The system of categories is about indistinguishable to the category system of the present. The chief difference is the scientific technology of the people in each category. Obviously, in our society people are non altered scientifically in order to suit into a societal category. In any civilization, whether it is futuristic or from the yesteryear, there are ever societal categories that are by and large likewise. There is ever a group of rich people, a group of hapless people, and a group or multiple groups of in-between category people. We see this in A Brave New World every bit good as in this twenty-four hours.

In the novel, Alphas are superior existences in about every facet. They are physically larger, more attractive worlds with much intelligence and all the luxuries that anyone could desire. The Betas through Epsilons are weaker as the categories become lower. In today & # 8217 ; s society, our categories are based chiefly upon money. The richer people are considered the highest-class people. Unlike the Alpha category, these people are non needfully the strongest or the smartest but they are viewed as the most powerful. In-between category people are comparable to the Betas and Deltas. There is a big scope of in-between category. There are those that

are close to high category and there are those that are near to being hapless. The Betas and Deltas lucifer this description. Again the chief difference is fiscal standing versus physical high quality. Finally, the hapless people of our society

stand for the Epsilon category. They are considered the weakest in society and are of least importance. Though they do play a function in doing the society tally, it is a weak one.

It is clear that the two societies are about indistinguishable. The difference between the two is what factors set up the societal standing. Soon, money is the chief factor in finding a individual & # 8217 ; s category. The more money a individual has, the more power in society they have ; and the more power they have, the more money they receive. In A Brave New World people are scientifically created in order to suit the demands of their societal category. Money comes with the category standing, but does non set up it. The categories are about indistinguishable in every manner except how people become a portion of them.

Overall, the civilised society of the hereafter is non much different than that of today & # 8217 ; s society. The categories are the same, merely the civilised society is formed by some greater force which decides who will be powerful and who will non. The all-powerful force of the dollar signifiers today & # 8217 ; s society. Possibly a controlling authorities is a better manner to organize society than leting money to command our lives.
